1. Acceptance of these Terms §

By accessing or using https://ethicalogic.com (the “Site”), you (“User,” “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EthicaLogic d.o.o., Vilharjeva cesta 42, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (“EthicaLogic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Changes to Terms §

We may modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice on the Site prior to new terms taking effect, which may include updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Scope of Services; No Professional Advice §

The Site provides general information regarding topics such as AI governance, data privacy, and related services. Site content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, or other professional advice. Any engagement for EthicaLogic’s professional services is subject to a separate written agreement.

4. User Eligibility and Acceptable Use §

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you (a) are of legal age to form a binding contract (or have valid parental/guardian consent), (b) have the authority to enter into these Terms, and (c) will use the Site in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You agree not to:

• violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
• post or transmit unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material;
• infringe or misappropriate our IP rights or those of others, including trademarks and copyrights;
• engage in unauthorized scraping, data mining, bulk download, or harvesting of content (including via bots without our prior written consent);
• attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or to breach security or authentication measures;
• interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Site (e.g., DDoS, injection, reverse engineering);
• misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, or otherwise mislead users.

5. Intellectual Property §

All content, features, and functionality on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio/video clips, data compilations, and software—and the compilation thereof (collectively, the “Content”) are the property of EthicaLogic, our licensors, or other content suppliers, and are protected by Slovenian, EU, and international IP laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and to download or print a copy of Content you have properly accessed solely for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and proprietary notices intact. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

6. User-Generated Content §

If the Site permits you to post, upload, or submit content (“User Content”), you grant EthicaLogic a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content in any media. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to your User Content and that its use by us does not violate these Terms or any rights of others.

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion.

7. Third-Party Links, Tools, and Resources §

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources and may integrate third-party tools. We are not responsible for (i) the availability or accuracy of such websites or resources, or (ii) the content, products, or services available from them. Links do not imply endorsement. You assume sole responsibility and all risk arising from your use of any third-party websites, tools, or resources.

8. Privacy and Cookies §

Our collection and use of personal information in connection with your access to and use of the Site are described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties §

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”.

To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, EthicaLogic disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected, or that emails from us are free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability §

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall EthicaLogic, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses) resulting from or related to (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Site; (c) any content obtained from the Site; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

EthicaLogic’s total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed one hundred euros (€100).

11. Indemnification §

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EthicaLogic and its affiliates from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction §

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ljubljana, Slovenia, without prejudice to any mandatory venue rules that may apply.

13. Severability §

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement; Language §

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice, and Educational Content Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and EthicaLogic regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals. Translations may be provided for convenience; in case of discrepancies, the English version controls.

16. Site Availability; Monitoring & Enforcement §

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We reserve the right to monitor use of the Site and to take appropriate legal action for any violation of these Terms, including without limitation referral to law enforcement.

17. Linking to Our Site; Framing §

You may link to publicly available pages of the Site in a fair and legal manner that does not damage our reputation or suggest any endorsement. You must not frame the Site on any other site without our prior written permission.

18. Open-Source and Third-Party Components §

The Site may reference or include third-party or open-source components subject to their own licenses. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under such licenses. In case of conflict, the third-party license terms control for the relevant component.

19. Electronic Communications; Notices; Takedown §

By using the Site, you consent to receive communications electronically. For notices or claims (including copyright or other IP complaints), contact legal@ethicalogic.com. We will review notices in good faith and may remove or disable access to material at our discretion in accordance with applicable law.

20. Waiver; Assignment; Survival §

Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them without restriction. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including Sections 5, 7–12, 14–20).

21. AI-Assisted Content & Editorial Standards §

Some parts of the Site’s content may be created, edited, illustrated, designed, or technically implemented with the assistance of generative AI tools. This disclosure means AI tools can be used where appropriate, not that they are used for all materials on the Site.

Wherever AI tools are involved, they operate under human direction and mandatory human review. EthicaLogic applies layered editorial controls (pre-publication review, fact-checking, legal/policy/IP checks, and privacy/security screening) to reduce errors and bias; however, we cannot guarantee the absence of inaccuracies or the suitability of content for your specific purposes.

• Possible AI-assisted areas: text drafting and editing (including rewriting, summarization, and translation); images/graphics/diagrams; UX/UI comps and page layouts; code snippets or front-end components; data visualizations and metadata.
• Human oversight: multi-step editorial review before publication and corrective updates post-publication where needed.
• Safety, privacy & IP checks: we screen for personal data, verify third-party license terms, and apply source attribution where applicable.
• Attribution & IP: unless otherwise noted, the Site content (including AI-assisted content) is owned by EthicaLogic and subject to Section 5 (Intellectual Property).
• No reliance as advice: educational content is subject to our Educational Content Disclaimer.

22. Use of Site Data for AI Training; TDM Opt-Out §

EthicaLogic does not permit the use of the Site or its Content for the training or fine-tuning of third-party AI models without our prior written consent. We implement machine-readable and contractual measures to communicate and enforce this restriction to automated agents and AI crawlers.

• Text & Data Mining (TDM) opt-out: we signal machine-readable opt-outs for non-exempt AI training activities and may update such signals over time.
• Limited exceptions: standard web indexing for search (e.g., general search engines) is allowed unless otherwise indicated; any AI training beyond indexing requires a written license from EthicaLogic.
• Industry collaboration (by consent): we are open to responsible collaborations with model developers and research teams to define evaluation/training frameworks or to license controlled access to specific materials of interest, subject to our prior written agreement setting scope, safeguards, and attribution. • User submissions: content you submit to the Site (forms, comments, uploads) is not used to train third-party models unless we (i) clearly request consent, and (ii) you provide it.
• Enforcement: automated scraping, bulk export, or model-training use of the Site contrary to these Terms is prohibited and may result in legal action.
